![]() ![]() Really much appreciating your help.įor the depth of the controller to fit, you'll need to cut out a section of the armrest, this doesn't need to be tidy as you won't see it once everything is back together. What I don't know is what is the difference in a genuine CIC armrest or if you cut it, is there any difference? Thank you so much. I have the CIC trim bought already but need to cut the armrest. Could you show me a pic of how the controller should look like?Įxactly this was thinking about, how actually fixes it so it can't move at all. Well regarding the software update is really interesting. Remember when buying the controller you'll need the bezel that goes around the top of the controller and the block thst screw to the underside of the gear shift surround to prevent the controller dropping into the armrest. From what I've read, as long as you have the silver background on your CCC no software updates are required. I wasn't aware there were different versions or part numbers for the CIC controller. Do you know what part number I need, in order not to be necessary to update the firmware on the CCC? I do remember I've read somewhere that I still need to update it, even if it's LCI and have the silver menu. Apparently it should work without updating it. I do remember I read somewhere if the CIC controller is one of the earlier ones it doesn't require update. ![]()
